I added that last word purely so I could mention how much food we were given during the program. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day and dinner usually involved three courses. I don’t think I’ve ever been so well fed in my life (sorry mom).
The other two words, though, were how I felt when I was not stuffing my face. Okay, to be honest, I was pretty impressed with the food too.
But meeting the other EuroScholars students and hearing about the research they are doing while here, their future goals, their interests, and their passions was inspiring. It is nice to know that I am part of a program that attracts such driven and successful people.
The Midstay was a great experience because it brought us all together and gave us a new perspective on the EuroScholars program. It also gave us a chance to meet the people who have helped us along the way and made this program as incredible as it is. I am very happy to be able to call myself a “EuroScholar” and to be a part of this amazing opportunity.
